Skagit County Public Health is part of the Help Me Grow Skagit network, connecting families with services and supports for health and well-being. The first 1,000 days, from pregnancy through age 2, lay the foundation for lifelong health.
Our Child and Family Health Division works with families and community partners to help every child get a healthy start in life. Services are free. Some have eligibility requirements, while others are available to all Skagit County families.
Pregnancy, Infant & Early Childhood Services
Skagit County Public Health works with community partners to connect expectant parents and families with young children to the care, information, and support they need for a healthy start.
During Pregnancy
Getting early prenatal care and support can help you have a healthy pregnancy and prepare for parenting.

For Babies and Young Children
Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD) helps families find dental care for young children. Regular dental visits are recommended by your child's first birthday. Help is available for children up to age 6, or up to age 12 for children with a developmental disability. Call or text Help Me Grow Skagit at (360) 630-8352 for assistance.
Help Me Grow Skagit connects expectant parents and families with young children to local services and supports that promote health, development, and well-being. Call or text (360) 630-8352. Staff are available Monday through Friday during regular business hours and will return calls when needed.
