Annual Budget Process

Quarterly Budget Amendments

In addition to the annual budget process, the County Commissioners consider quarterly budget amendments from departments and elected offices.

Each quarter, the Commissioners host a work session to hear amendment requests and a public hearing to take comment on the amendments before adopting a revised budget.

The public may listen into the work sessions by joining the meeting in-person in the Commissioners' Hearing Room or by joining via Zoom at the link on the Commissioners' website. No public comment will be taken during work sessions, only during the public hearings.

All County Commissioner work sessions and public hearings are open to the public either in-person in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 1800 Continental Place, Mount Vernon, or via Zoom at the link on the Commissioners’ website below.
